Dan Harbison. I live in Portland, OR where I am the current Senior Director of Interactive Marketing and Media for the Portland Trail Blazers. I manage the team that creates and executes digital strategy for the Portland Trail Blazers. This includes websites, social marketing, digital media, mobile and email. In addition to managing the Digital Group (6 staff-members), I also contribute to the overall strategy and communication plans of the organization, consult with our corporate partners to maximize their sponsorships and drive revenue through ticket and merchandise sales via online transactions.
I speak on regular basis on the topic of digital marketing. Some of the destinations where I have spoken at conferences include New York, Sydney, Aukland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Portland.
I have worked in radio for a number of years, both in and out of the radio booth and still carry a passion for punk/hip-hop. I am a bike commuter, newly converted long-distance runner and every-other-weekend basketball player and of course a husband and a dad. (There just isn’t enough hours in the day).
