I’ve always been a fan of slow motion in video. Helps tell the story. Let’s people focus on the now. Gives a different perspective on all the subjects in the shot. Or, things just look cooler when slowed down. Whether it is a Wes Anderson signature scene:

or in replays of a sporting event. With the super hi-speed cameras becoming more and more accessible, it will be cool to see what different film makers and marketing geniuses come up with to help augment telling of a story.
